Support Us

The work of RBMHO to date has been made possible by the kind generosity of Baptist churches, their fellowships and individual friends who have made donations, bequeathed properties or left legacies.

The Organisation is very grateful to receive donations and legacies from individuals and churches and readily acknowledges those who have helped it grow by leaving legacies, often of houses, specifically for the needs of retiring Ministers and Missionaries. Without such support the work of the Organisation would not have been able to go forward.

So far we have been able to provide housing for all who qualified, but the Organisation still needs help sourcing money for house purchases and maintenance. Despite more ministers having a stake in home ownership our role is not diminishing. Our estimate of future housing needs show the level of investment required for housing will not decrease in the next 10 years or more.

If you are able to help RBMHO provide ministers and missionaries with a secure retirement in their own home there are a variety of ways in which you can give.

We have a Stewardship account where one off or regular gifts can be made to us. Please either use the QR code or follow the link Stewardship Services will collect Gift Aid for us if you are a UK tax payer. They charge between 1% and 3% for processing the donation depending on what they need to do.

Legacies

If you intend to leave a bequest to RBMHO in your will please ensure that the beneficiary is the Retired Baptist Ministers Housing Organisation, charity number 1177649. Our registered office is RBMHO, Baptist House, 129 Broadway, Didcot, OX11 8RT. While we're always extremely grateful when a property is left to us, on occasion the gift fails as the property has been sold to cover costs of residential care for example and we recieve nothing. If you intend to leave a property please consider including an alternative in the eventuality that it has been sold in your lifetime.

Thank you so much for any donation you make.

Any personal information that you provide us when making your donation will only be used by RBMHO to acknowledge and account for the donation and to meet legislative requirements. This information will be securely stored by the Organisation. It will not be passed onto any third parties unless required by legislation. If you give through Stewardship Services their data protection policy will apply to any personal data you give them.
